For many smallscale farmers, this dependency on expensive external supplies makes poultry farming an uncertain venture. However, from within the community, Grassroots Integrated Farming (GIFarming) has developed an innovative, homegrown solution that leverages one of the country's most abundant crops: cassava. GIFarming is a local enterprise in Bo District pioneering 100% organic poultry feed from cassava.
