Empowering Communities Through Sustainable Agriculture and Cassava Innovation Mabanta Farmers Enterprise (MFE) is a registered agribusiness based in Mabanta Village, Bombali District, Sierra Leone, dedicated to transforming locally grown cassava into high-quality, value-added products that support food security, strengthen rural livelihoods, and drive sustainable economic development. Established in 2021, the enterprise specializes in the cultivation, processing, and marketing of High-Quality Cassava Flour (HQCF), gari, cassava fufu, and other cassava-based products. By combining sustainable farming practices with modern processing techniques, MFE delivers safe, nutritious, and affordable products to households, retailers, food processors, institutions, and commercial buyers across Sierra Leone. At the heart of our operations is a strong commitment to empowering farming communities. We work closely with smallholder farmers and out-growers to improve agricultural productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, and create reliable market opportunities for locally grown cassava. Through these partnerships, we are building resilient agricultural value chains that generate income, strengthen food systems, and contribute to national economic growth. Mabanta Farmers Enterprise also champions inclusive development by creating employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women, young people, and persons with disabilities.
